Patient Rights and Responsibilities

As a patient at Venus Hospital, you have specific rights and responsibilities. 

Patient Rights: 

  • The right to receive high-quality medical care regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, or socioeconomic status.
  • The right to privacy and confidentiality of medical information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • The right to participate in decisions regarding your medical care and treatment plan.
  • The right to access your medical records and request amendments to any inaccuracies.

Patient Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your medical history, current health status, and any medications you are taking.
  • Follow the instructions provided by healthcare professionals at Venus Hospital, including adhering to prescribed treatment plans and attending scheduled appointments.
  • Treat healthcare professionals, staff, and fellow patients with respect and courtesy.

We expect all our patients and visitors to conduct themselves in a respectful manner within the premises of our hospital. We shall not tolerate any form of violence, threats, harassment, or harassment. Should you not follow our code of conduct, said actions can and will result in legal action or termination of our services for you. Therefore, we kindly request you to be civil and maintain our code of conduct during your stay on our premises.

However, we have the complete right not to disclose any and all forms of confidential information unless required by law. 

Liability

Although we at Venus Hospital are dedicated to providing accurate and reliable healthcare services, we cannot guarantee the effectiveness or outcome of any treatment or procedure. Therefore, we shall not be held liable for any damages, injuries, or losses during our services unless in specific circumstances when these said losses are caused by the incompetence of our staff or from intentional malicious intention. Should such an event occur, we shall be held liable as per Nepal law. 

Billing and Payments

You are responsible for paying for services as per the hospital’s billing policy. Fees and charges for services shall be discussed with the patient before the treatment begins and shall remain at a predetermined amount in ideal circumstances. However, the bills can change depending on the additional medications and procedures required during an emergency or unforeseen circumstances. During such circumstances, the patient and or their family/ guardian shall be notified at the nearest convenience. We accept various payment methods, including but not limited to cash, credit/debit cards, and health insurance. 

Governing Law

The terms and conditions mentioned on this page are governed by Nepal law. 

Changes to Terms

We have the complete right to modify, change, or amend the terms and conditions mentioned here at any given time without any form of prior notice; any change on this page shall be effective immediately upon being posted on this website.
