Dr. Sameer Aryal is an experienced neurosurgeon who is working at Venus Hospital. He completed his MBBS in the year 2008 from Zhengzhou University, Henan, China. He also acquired an MS degree in Neurosurgery in the year 2018 from the Postgraduate Medical Institute, University of Health Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. To support his career in the medical sector, Dr Aryal also completed the advanced training on J-MOVA (Japanese Microvascular Anastomosis). This training helped him a lot in performing advanced microsurgical procedures. Furthermore, he also attended a Microneurosurgery course at AIIMS, New Delhi, India. 

He serves as a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at the National Academy of Medical Sciences, Bir Hospital since 2021 and at Alka Hospital, Lalitpur, since 2018, where he leads a neurosurgery team to manage the neurological cases. Dr Aryal has been in the field for 7 years, and therefore is well experienced to manage complex cases such as trauma, cerebrovascular disorders, spinal and brain tumors, and stroke. He has high experience in intricate neurosurgical procedures such as skull base surgery, anterior circulation aneurysm surgery, micro-lumbar discectomy, brainstem cavernoma microsurgery, and cerebrospinal fluid diversion techniques. 

The doctor has published various medical papers on vestibular schwannoma surgery, outcomes on brainstem cavernomas, complicated spinal AVMs, and other topics related to neurosurgery, which would give insight into the latest knowledge and developments in neurosurgery. The doctor is also a strong executive member in the Nepalese Society of Neurosurgeons (NESON) and General Secretary at National Brain Tumor Centre. In addition, he is also a consultant Neurosurgeon at the Dirghayu Guru Hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal.
