Dr. Noora Pradhan is an expert gynecologist who works at Venus hospital. She started her medical career by completing MBBS from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, Shaanxi, China, in 2004. After obtaining an MBBS degree, she pursued an MD in Gynecology and Obstetrics from Sun Yat-Sen University, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, in 2012. Because of her outstanding academic background, she has in-depth knowledge of women’s health, reproductive medicine, and latest surgical practices.

With over a decade of experience, Dr. Pradhan can manage complex cases. Before she worked at Venus Hospital, she previously worked at Paropakar Maternity & Women’s Hospital from 2013 to 2015 as a gynaecologist. After working at this hospital, she immediately joined Dhulikhel Hospital. At this hospital, she served as an Assistant professor and Gynecologist specialist from 2015 to 2023. Currently, she serves as a Laparoscopic Gynecology Surgeon at Venus hospital. Due to her work experience at many hospitals, she has become an accomplished laparoscopic gynecology surgeon, performing complex procedures such as hysterectomy, myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy, and pelvic adhesiolysis. Additionally, she also treats a wide range of gynaecology cases such as Endometriosis Excision, Pelvic Floor Reconstruction, Diagnostic Laparoscopy and Tubal Sterilization.

Dr. Pradhan has taken training regarding clinical training skills, rural obstetric ultrasound, comprehensive abortion care, post Partum IUCD insertion, adolescent reproductive and sexual health. She is also an organizing member of breast cancer symposium Nepal 2023, Urogynaecological Conference 2022, workshop of hysteroscopy, and first International congress of German Nepal society of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Pradhan is also a trainer in Laparoscopic workshop through which she provides knowledge and skills to the upcoming gynecologist.
